Self Catering Accommodation for our painting holidays As well as the lovely hotel, La Posada del Angel, we are lucky to have at our disposal a beautiful studio flat in Casa Margarita which sleeps two people (double) very comfortably and Casa Granadillos which sleeps 4 (2 x doubles). Both are beautifully decorated and much sought after so please book early to avoid disappointment. For your non-painting partner/s it may be just the ideal time to come and relax, read a book and enjoy a few glasses of Rioja from the villages' wine museum. The houses are just a few steps from the vibrant and delicious restaurants, bars and all amenities. The beautiful clean and safe beaches are a mere 10 minutes drive down the mountain. Casa Maragrita
Thoughtfully decorated and very spacious Casa Margarita is well laid out with all modern conveniences: large salon/dining area, kitchen, shower room with toilet & all situated perfectly in the heart of the village. This is a sought after and attractive alternative allowing for an authentic experience for an artist/s living among the people of the village- a truly different perspective of Ojen altogether & an excellent choice for 1 or 2 artists and/or artists with non-painting partner. Towels and linen are provided. TV (with satellite), washing machine, gas cooker, refrigerator. Available April - September. COST based on one person painting £550 Includes: 7 nights accommodation, 5 days tuition for one, Spanish airport transfers for two.
Casa Granadillos
This gorgeous 3 storey self contained house is just a few streets from the plaza. Sleeping 4 people (2 x doubles) this is a great place to bring the family or friends with you to enjoy the delights of this beautiful location and region while you paint. It is a 3 storey building with a large roof terrace. On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen. On the next floor there is a large comfortable sitting room with two sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. The bedroom is on the next floor with a double bed. From the bedroom, stairs lead to the large roof terrace, where you have stunning panoramic views across pan-tiled rooftops of the village the mountains beyond and down to the Meditterean. All towels and linen are provided, satellite TV, DVD, Hi-fi, washing machine, tumble drier, electric cooker, microwave. Tastefully decorated throughout, Casa Granadillos is a tranquil haven where you can relax and unwind in comfort. Available April - June 2007 COST based on one person painting £680 Includes: 7 nights accommodation, 5 days tuition for one, Spanish airport transfers for two. MEALS You don’t have to be slaving over a hot stove after slaving over a hot easel all day and it would be a shame not enjoy the delicious dishes of the professional, local chefs along with the ambience of the traditional restaurants. All meals are prepared and served in professional restaurants and tapas bars and are an (optional) extra £250 per person for 7 evening dinners a la carte in the excellent village restaurants. We visit all of the villages 5 restaurants, ensuring we never tire of the delicious menus. However you can simply please yourself experimenting or perhaps you just fancy a pizza. A typical Spanish breakfast of freshly squeezes orange juice, the best fresh coffee, toastada (lightly toasted baguette) with olive oil, garlic and tomato can be found in the plaza at Paco's bar for just 6 euros. affordable, delicious tapas bars are found everywhere. Opportunities to rent different houses in the village do arise from time to time and it is always worthwhile if you are looking for individually decorated, and first class holiday accommodation to check what is available at the time.
