Dining Out in Ojen

El Caldero Restaurante

FOOD!!! For those choosing to dine as part of their holiday package with us as well as those who wish to experiment and discover the local dishes for themselves, Ojen is blessed with some of the most delicious and extremely professional restaurants. All use the local produce and the menus are varied and typically Spanish. You will never tire of the exciting selections.

Flores Fogan Restaurante

Bar Diego's Tapas Bar, situated smack bang in the middle of the plaza, is a favourite with the locals, and the home made tapas are legendary.

Tapas in Bar Diegos

In the evenings can you dine in a choice of the village restaurants where the friendly professional staff take care of your gastronomic needs.

We do understand the need for our guests to enjoy good food and therefore we have endured many evenings of delicious homework as well as listening to our guests recommendations.

As a result, for our painting holidays, we have chosen a clutch of restaurants for our evening meals.

El Caldero  Restaurant

Roasted lamb, steaks, excellently prepared seafood and fish such as Bass, Hake and Ling and the famous delicious Paella are just a sample of the mouth watering fare on offer from the a la carte menus.

All chefs are fanatical about using  fresh, local produce. In the mornings we can see the men returning from the countryside on their scooters, packed to bursting with fruit and vegetables, cultivated in the very “huertas” (vegetable allotments) surrounding the village, supplying the restaurants and grocers.  Absolutely Delicious!

We cater for non-meat and fish eating guests as well as "foodies" and healthy eaters. And judging by our guests comments we are very confident about the quality and standard of cuisine. But watch out. Diets are at a high risk as some portions can leave you staggering and the deserts are to die for.

Most of the restaurants have outside/patio facilities where you can sit in the warmth of the Meditterean evening and watch the village life.
