DUCKS CROSSING, St Andrews. Tel 01334 477010

We have had the pleasure of working with the small guest house, Ducks Crossing. Wonderfully professional but supremely informal accommodation, Ducks Crossing is just steps away from the centre of St Andrews. Monica Ramsay, the proprietor, is very much appreciative of the arts holding a small art group in her kitchen every week with an open invite, although she would say it is more about chatting and having a social drink!

Fairnie House, St Andrews. Tel 01334 474094

Fairnie House is a lovely old Georgian townhouse centrally situated. The name "Fairnie" is taken from the earliest title deeds of the property where the first recorded owner was Isobel Fairnie. The house is a 'C' listed building dating from c.1750.
All bedrooms are on the ground floor and have TV, central heating, hair dryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Two bedrooms have en-suite facilities while the third has its own private bathroom across the hall. A stone staircase leads up to the first floor where we have the guests' dining room.
The central location of Fairnie House is perfect for all that St Andrews has to offer. The Abbey ruins are only 200 metres away,
